Artisanne2000, capturing special memories in oil on canvas.
Born in the North of England into an R.A.F. environment, I was raised with a deep love for all animals. At the early age of two I became passionate about horses, which drove my desire to draw and paint.
I won my first national art competition at the age of eight. Shortly after, we left England to live in the far east until my early teens. I finished my education in Cheltenham and the beautiful Cotswold countryside, true horse country.

Though art was always my favourite subject, I pursued other career objectives until finding myself deep in the heart of Texas in the late seventies, where I became involved in breeding, training and showing Arabian horses. I ran the farm for nearly twenty years, surrounded by so many beautiful horses. I began painting our own horses and foals, and also those of our clients and friends.
In 1997 I met my husband Michael and moved to Grenada, where we live on the top of a hill with a breathtaking view overlooking three beautiful bays. Our happy menagerie in Grenada includes an Arabian horse, seven dogs and six cats.
